To find out quickly whether your project is in good shape, ask yourself:

  1. How much customer or stakeholder value has been delivered so far?

  1. How many of the critical business case assumptions have been validated?

  1. What proportion of the budget has been used to achieve this?

What about over the coming month or 3 months? 

If your project is not delivering value on a regular basis, then perhaps you should make contact.
